I will not die an unlived life I will not live in fear of falling Or of catching fire I choose to inhabit my days To allow my living to open me Making me less afraid More accessible To loosen my heart So that it becomes a wing, a torch, a promise I choose to risk my significance. To live so that that which comes to me as seed Goes to the next as blossom And that which comes to me as blossom Goes on as fruit. --Donna Markova

Different and yet the same

Wow, hmm...I had an interesting evening out with the church peeps. We went to Chevys for dinner in honor of our impending departure for Mexico and then a few of us (me and three of the guys) hit Uptown and saw Saved at the Lagoon. I remembered why I miss hanging out w/ those guys. I love guys...there's something so refreshingly unpretentious about them. Anyway, I was planning on writing more but I'm suddenly tired. I'll catch you all later after I'm back from Mexico and then college orientation. Love ya'll. Katie
