I will not die an unlived life I will not live in fear of falling Or of catching fire I choose to inhabit my days To allow my living to open me Making me less afraid More accessible To loosen my heart So that it becomes a wing, a torch, a promise I choose to risk my significance. To live so that that which comes to me as seed Goes to the next as blossom And that which comes to me as blossom Goes on as fruit. --Donna Markova

It's a perfect day!

Not to gloat, but life, at the moment, rocks. I'm taking kickboxing w/ some of my friends and that has totally pumped me up so I'm going w/ a little eupohoria right now. All of my school stuff is really easy and great right now. I have Gov w/ Raths, which I love...although I tend to do my English hmwk during class because I pretty much know all the stuff, but that's still cool. I have Wally for English and Teigen for Euro. I made national merit semifinalist and got Mr. Raths to agree to speak for me @ the Nat'l Merit Breakfast (totally beat out Jim Gunther...yeah!) I have my UW-Madison app in and I'm almost done w/ all the others. I am making tons of friends (especially cute guy friends, aye de mi!). I went to my first high school boys soccer game last night and watched cute guys run around for an hour and a half and then I went to Friday Night Madness w/ church, which totally rocked. Work is going wonderfully and my parents are leaving for Russia in like 8 days to go pick out our adoptive child (we think he's going to be this blonde haire blue eyed five year old named Alexi, but that isn't definite yet).

I'm in love w/ life...what could be better?

Praise God, -Katie Moss

Russia!

We just got the call from our adoption agency and my parents will be going to Russia in two weeks! We (los tres hijos) just applied for our passports and we hope they'll arrive by the time we're supposed to make our second trip to Russia so that we can go w/ our parents, which would totally rock, although it might end up being over Thanksgiving. No time now, but had to put the word out there. Thanks all and pray for our family please... - Katie Moss
